How will my games get determined?

For this listing, you would offer to purchase a certain number of games and tickets from the Season Ticket Holder. The actual games and tickets you would get would be determined at a later date using the the following method:

In Person Draft
New partner will participate in an In Person Draft. Draft will be held at a time and date agreeable to the majority of partners. If a partner cannot attend a date, efforts shall be made to ensure partners picks are fairly selected (for example, ability to call in selection, or the option to send another person to make picks). Draft picks will be based on the number of games each partner is purchasing. Draft Order will be set fairly giving all partners a pick in the first round and the remaining picks will be fairly determined based on the proportion of games owned by each partner. The Draft Order shall NOT unfairly benefit or harm any partner(s). All games and tickets shall be included in the draft.

Hi there. Are you still selling games for this upcoming season? I'd be interested in 5 games, depending on which games are left. Thanks, Walter
  • Hi Walter, Yes, I am still looking to get rid of some games. We already had our draft, but I have 20 games left. The easiest thing would probably for you and I to have a draft from the 20 games. Here are the games I have: Oct 29 vs Indiana Nov 30 vs Lakers Dec 5 vs Portland Dec 13 vs Minnesota Dec 16 vs Milwaukee Dec 31 vs Washington Dec 31 vs Milwaukee Jan 7 vs Toronto Jan 9 vs Oklahoma Jan 14 vs New Orleans Jan 27 vs Miami Jan 29 vs Philadelphia Feb 14 vs Toronto Feb 16 vs Boston March 4 vs Clippers Mar 15 vs Memphis Mar 17 vs Utah Mar 30 vs Cleveland April 10 vs Orlando April 12 vs Brooklyn The only preseason game left is Oct 17 vs Charlotte. You can have that one. Or if there are 5 games you'd like evenly disbursed between good and bad games we might be able to do this without a draft. Let me know if you have other questions. Jim

When will the in person game selection meeting take place? Also, where will the meeting take place? I do not need a specific address now, a town would be sufficient. Thanks.
  • We have switched our draft to an online draft, so you could do it from anywhere. I work downtown Chicago, so I usually meet up with the guys downtown to exchange money and then I electronically send the tickets. We are scheduled to start the draft on Monday night 9/21. However, lets say you didn't decide until after the draft and wanted 5 tickets. You and I would do a draft from the 15 tickets I still have.

What does the range mean for ticket price? Does it depend on the opponent...or....?
  • Not sure why a price range is showing. The game price is $360 ($180 per ticket). The $360 includes a parking pass. All games are the same price.

If I get 5 tickets, is one going to be a preseason game? Thanks.
  • No, the 5 will all be regular season games. Its possible you could get a preseason game as an extra game. When we do our draft, I'll usually ask if anyone wants a preseason game. Sometimes not all the preseason are taken.

Are you averaging all the ticket prices or does each game carry different prices? How do you determine playoff games?
  • All games are the same price. Here's how we do it. We have a draft with the order of the draft randomly selected. There are 5 rounds with 8 games per round. Let's say you had the first pick. You would pick one game out of the 40 games (home opener is not available). Then 7 other picks would be made by others to complete the first round. The next round is reverse order, so you would pick last I the second round. The 3rd round you would pick first again. The 5th round we randomly select the order. For the playoffs, I offer the games as they are available. Last year I had 2 games for the opening round against Milwaukee available. Once the playoff schedule comes out, I'll send an email to everyone to see if anyone wants the games. For the Cleveland series, I only had one of the games available. Hope that answers your question.
